Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 4 Granny Smith apples peeled, cored, and sliced
  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter softened
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar packed
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  • Peel, core, and slice the apples into even wedges (about 1/4-inch thick).

  • Stir in vanilla extract and lemon juice. Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes until fragrant and well combined.
  • Remove from heat and serve warm as a side dish or dessert topping.
