Ingredients
  

Dry Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup chocolate protein powder
  • 1/2 cup almond flour
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 pinch salt

Wet Ingredients

  • 2 large eggs or flaxseed egg substitute
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1/4 cup natural sweetener honey, maple syrup, or stevia
  • 1/4 cup melted coconut oil or unsalted butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Optional Add-Ins

  • dark chocolate chips for topping
  • chopped nuts for topping

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8x8-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  • In a large bowl, whisk together the protein powder, almond flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk the eggs, almond milk, melted coconut oil, natural sweetener, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  • Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, mixing until a thick batter forms.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread evenly. Top with chocolate chips and nuts, if desired.
  • Bake for 18-22 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  • Let cool in the pan for 15 minutes before slicing into squares.

Notes

For extra fudgy brownies, reduce the baking time by 2-3 minutes. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for 3 days or refrigerate for up to a week.
