Crockpot Spaghetti is an easy, comforting dish made with tender pasta, rich tomato sauce, and hearty ground beef or sausage all slow-cooked to perfection.
In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until cooked through. Drain excess fat.
Add the browned beef to the slow cooker. Stir in spaghetti sauce, diced tomatoes, garlic, oregano, basil, salt, and red pepper flakes.
Cover and cook on low for 4–5 hours or on high for 2–3 hours.
In the last 30–45 minutes of cooking, break the spaghetti in half and stir into the sauce. Ensure the noodles are fully submerged.
Stir occasionally until the pasta is tender. Add a splash of water if needed to adjust the consistency.
Serve hot, garnished with grated Parmesan and fresh basil if desired.
Notes
For a creamier texture, stir in a spoonful of cream cheese during the last 10 minutes of cooking. For extra flavor, add chopped mushrooms or bell peppers.
