Ingredients
  

Brownie Layer

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Cookie Layer

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter softened
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 cup chocolate chips

Instructions
 

  • Mix brownie batter ingredients until combined.
  • Mix cookie dough ingredients until combined.
  • Spread brownie batter into a 9x9-inch pan.
  • Drop spoonfuls of cookie dough over brownie layer.
  • Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 25-30 minutes.

Notes

Let cool before slicing for clean cuts.
