Dumpling Dough

Bisquick baking mix

Instructions
In a mixing bowl, combine Bisquick and milk until a soft dough forms. Do not overmix.
Bring your soup or stew to a simmer over medium heat.
Drop spoonfuls of dough onto the surface of the simmering soup. Keep the dumplings roughly the same size for even cooking.
Cover the pot and cook for 10 minutes. Do not lift the lid while the dumplings are steaming.
Uncover and cook for an additional 10 minutes until the dumplings are cooked through and no longer doughy in the center.
Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley or chives if desired.
Notes
For best results, make sure your soup is simmering—not boiling—when adding the dumplings. Overmixing the dough can result in dense dumplings.
